What questions to ask the Client
This type of project will inevitably require the basics of code, such as: creating a database collection, creating dynamic pages, creating a form and dataset permissions. If client answers “YES” to any of the questions in bold, it will require advanced code or advanced logic.
Will you need to approve any listing before it appears on your site?
Will you need the person to have access to edit the listing later?
Will the listings need to be categorized in anyway?
Are you flexible about the design, layout or flow of listings?
Will you require different designs or layouts for different listings?
Will you need to highlight, feature or emphasize any listing?
Will you need to randomize the order of the listing?
Will you require a search function to search, sort or filter listings?
What are the questions you would like to ask the person listing?
Are the questions the different for everyone?
Are there any conditional questions (depending on what is answered)?
Will any of these questions remain private, for your eyes only?
Are these listings being added by you or a member of your staff?
Are these listings being added by the public?
Are these listings being added by paying members?
Do these listings expire?
How many listings are allowed per person?
Will you be charging per listing or per membership?
Are there any other conditions you require?
